For admission in DAE first year, the candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Matriculation (Secondary school certificate, SSC-II) / Intermediate (Higher Secondary certificate HSC-II passed in Science group from any board of intermediate & secondary education or other government recognized technical boards.
• Candidates has to qualify
• Marks obtained limit as prescribes by SBTE Karachi.
• Medical Fitness
• Age Limit

Medical Fitness

Final selection of the candidate shall be made subject to medical fitness. The Government medical officer would conduct the medical examination as per rule.

Age Limit

Age of the candidate during the admission year on closing date of admission shouldn't be more than 22 years. Candidates of age more than 18 years can be granted concession on upper age limit by the concern authority of the institute. Incase of Evening Shift age of the candidate during the admission year on closing date of admission should not be more than 35 Years.

Disqualification

• 1. Any attempt to influence to directly/indirectly for admission shall render the candidate disqualified.
• 2. The admission form is liable to be rejected if any entry is to be found incomplete / incorrect/misleading.The alteration or erasing should not be done in the form.

Intimation to Selected Candidates:

Merit list will be displayed on the institute notice board and successful candidates will be intimated by post and SMS. However, the college shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss. The candidates are advised to see for all important notice in connection with their admission on notice board of the institute. Candidate rejected on any ground shall not be intimated.

Final Authority Regarding Admission

The decision of Principal of the institute in respect of admission is final and is not challengeable in any court.
Note: DAE program is administered by the institute authority with affiliation of Sindh Board of Technical Education, Karachi, as such all the "RULES & REGULATIONS" of SBTE would be applicable in respect of admission to DAE.

Cancellation of Admission

The admission of students who remained absent continuously for three weeks from the date of start classes, without obtaining permission from Principal shall be stand cancelled automatically without issuing any notice thereof.

Student's Misconduct and Disciplines Regulation:

The student shall be govern by the rules of discipline in the class room, library, examination hall, playgrounds and other places, as prescribed by the institute authorities from time to time. Every student should have to sign an undertaking at the time of admission on a prescribed format.

Final Decision

The decision of the institute authorities in connection with the disciplinary action shall be final and binding on all concern students.

Registration with Sindh Board of Technical Education

Each student is required to register / enroll himself / herself in the Sindh Board of Technical Education, Karachi after getting the admission. In case of failure he/she will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
